Reports: How To Improve Your Home Energy Efficiency
Home energy costs have increased significantly over recent months and are likely to continue increasing. With a typical combined energy bill (electricity and heating fuel, gas, oil, etc) in the region of £800 to £1,000 per year for a 3 bedroom house, it is likely that cost effective savings can be made. Also, along with financial energy savings, a reduction in CO2 emissions can be achieved.
Of the total heat losses from a building, typical heat losses are 35% through walls, 25% through the roof, 15% out of the doors, another 15% via floors and 10% through windows.
