EPCs for commercial property sales and rental
An EPC will be required each time a commercial property is sold or rented out. New build commercial properties will have been assessed at the design stage.
An EPC will be required for all commercial properties from small high street shops and offices to large-scale complex commercial premises.
Note:
The actual terminology used by the Communities and Local Government (CLG) for commercial properties is 'non-dwellings' or 'non-domestic'.
